- Low Thermal Conductivity & Heat Capacity
- Thermal Shock & Tear Resistant
- Excellent Flexibility
- Asbestos-free
- Corrosion Resistant
- Good Electrical Insulation & Sound Insulation
Refractory fiber paper is made from papermaking refractory fibers with extremely low slag ball content. The fibers undergo pulping, slag removal, pulp blending, long-wire forming, vacuum dewatering, drying, cutting, and rolling to produce a small amount of high-quality heat-insulating refractory fiber products.
Refractory fiber paper features low thermal conductivity, low heat capacity, resistance to thermal shock, excellent softness, tear resistance, asbestos-free composition, corrosion resistance, excellent electrical insulation and soundproofing properties, superior machinability, and tough texture. It is widely used as a functional material for high-temperature insulation, sealing, gaskets, electrical insulation, sound absorption, and filtration. Depending on the operating temperature, refractory fiber paper is classified into 1260°C and 1400°C types; based on functionality, it is categorized as 'B', 'HB', and 'H' types.
B-type refractory fiber paper is made from standard or high-alumina loose blown fibers as raw materials. After pulping, slag removal, and pulp blending, it is formed into soft, elastic, lightweight fiber paper on a long-wire machine. B-type refractory fiber paper has low thermal conductivity and excellent mechanical strength. Due to its uniform structure, it exhibits isotropic thermal conductivity and a smooth surface. B-type refractory fiber paper is mainly used for high-temperature insulation materials.
HB-type refractory fiber paper uses the same fiber raw materials and production process as B-type refractory fiber paper, but the type and amount of binders and additives are different. HB-type refractory fiber paper is specially added with a butadiene flame retardant. It is uniform and has a neat surface, but its softness, elasticity, and tensile strength are slightly lower than those of B-type refractory fiber paper. It is generally used as a barrier and insulation material.
H-type refractory fiber paper is a rigid fiber paper made from standard refractory fibers, inert fillers, inorganic binders, and other additives. The pulp is prepared and formed into rigid fiber paper using a long-wire machine.
'H' type refractory fiber paper is easy to process, flexible, and has excellent high-temperature compressive strength. It is an ideal sealing and lining material.
