High-temperature ceramic filter tubes feature high temperature resistance (cold resistance), chemical corrosion resistance, high strength, uniform pore distribution and long service life, and are easy to regenerate, so they can be widely used in many industries. Their applications fall into two categories: one is two-phase separation; the other is dispersing one phase into another, namely two-phase mixing, especially for liquid filtration, gas filtration and fluidization.
In the environmental protection field, high-temperature ceramic filter tubes are used for filtration and dewatering of sludge and flocs after chemical coagulation; wastewater pretreatment via ion exchange, electrolysis and activated carbon adsorption; filtration of suspended solids in wastewater from boiler wet dust removal (closed-loop circulation available); final treatment for air flotation and evaporative concentration; oil-water separation of oily wastewater; filtration of flue gas from radioactive waste incineration without capturing radioactive substances.
They can be used as liners in radioactive waste repositories or landfills to let wastewater seep through blind ditches into collection tanks and prevent secondary pollution. They are also applied to flue gas filtration, filtration of zinc-, tin- and nickel-containing electroplating wastewater and other filtration treatment of electrolytic cell mother liquor, simplifying processes and cutting investment costs.
