Product Details

The refractory fiber special-shaped parts manufactured by our company are custom profiled products to meet the demands of specific production processes in certain industrial sectors. A dedicated mould is required for each refractory fiber special-shaped part according to its shape and dimension. Different binders and additives are selected based on product performance requirements to satisfy service conditions. All profiled products feature low shrinkage within their applicable temperature range while maintaining excellent heat insulation, light weight and impact resistance. Unfired materials can be easily cut or machined. During service, refractory fiber special-shaped parts deliver good wear and spalling resistance and are not wetted by most molten metals.

Shapes & Supply: Vacuum-formed products are available in a wide range of sizes and geometries including tubular, conical, dome and square box shapes. Most items can be produced to customer specifications. We also stock certain products, such as casting caps and sleeves for non-ferrous metal industries and vacuum-formed burner blocks for the petrochemical industry.
